Cotechino is a traditional Northern Italian sausage made from pork meat and rind. It’s eaten cooked and is a must-have at any Christmas table. It goes very well with mashed potatoes, horseradish, consumed on New Year’s Eve with lentils it becomes an auspicious symbol for the coming year.
The ‘Del Ben Selection’ cotechino is produced in the province of Pordenone, with selected meats from Italian pigs.
Tasty, with coarsely minced meats, it pairs wonderfully with not too full-bodied red wines.
