The production of whey butter requires time-intensive methods, a significant amount of labor, and specific skills possessed by only a limited number of dairy professionals.
Its flavor is faintly reminiscent of cheese, slightly tangy, sweet, and with hints of hazelnut. It proves versatile in culinary use and can be used for cooking, baking, or simply as a condiment.
